President Trump has slammed the previous administration for “profiteering” on student loans, and has vowed to end the “student loans scam”.
In an interview with The Hill, Trump laid the blame on the student loan crisis firmly on the shoulders of the federal government – which he says will come to an end on his watch.
“That’s probably one of the only things the government shouldn’t make money off. I think it’s terrible that one of the only profit centers we have is student loans,” he said.

How do you know it's good? Just like every other Trump initiative, Trump hasn't given a clue on how he intends to end the "Student loan scam". All he's done is make another proclamation.
For all you know, he intends to end all federal assistance via low interest loans to families and students and replace it all with commercial loans from private banks at credit card rates.
