Wow this is dumb. When you see a person that can come to this level of a stupid conclusion, it tends to make you wonder what other stupid conclusions they may be basing decisions on.

Well, there is that.

Loving this thread.

Reminds me of all the posts blaming Democrats for NAFTA when it was the first President Bush who signed it.

Doing what I can to keep this thread from being moved to the looney-tunes forum.

LOL! The OP has no clue why DVD's are tanking! OP still uses his eight track!

I cannot tell you the last time I purchased a DVD or rented a DVD. Maybe . . 6 years?

This is very weird reasoning.

Politics is not involved.

Streaming is.

Unless you think that only Trump supporters are streaming movies. If that is what you are saying, please provide some data. Thank you.

Blockbuster peaked in 2004 with more than 8000 stores and 60,000 employees. Their profitability became increasingly dependent on late fees. Netflix introduced " disruptive innovation" with DVDs and a subscription business model that eliminated late fees.

Blockbuster folded in 2010 and closed their stores and terminated all employees. At that time, many on this forum blamed the Obama economy for Blockbuster's failure and loss of jobs and shuttered stores. It's always easier to blame government than to grasp that Blockbuster's business model had become obsolete.

No surprise then to see a thread like this connecting Sony's loss on the politics of Hollywood rather than
"disruptive innovation" which is making DVDs obsolete along with former profits.

The tone has been set at the top. Trump needs to get over it. He's President.

Obsessing on crowd size and alleging that 3-5 million illegal votes were cast for Hillary, without any proof, is goofy stuff.

There is no national dada base of registered voters. The state's rely on county records. Counties do not always track death certificates to voter records. Does not mean millions are voting for dead people.

No shortage of people who are registered to vote in multiple states. I have been in that position several times due to relocation. Nothing tells my former state I have moved out of state. Trump's own family and some of his advisors are registered in multiple states. No reason to believe they voted in multiple states no different than anyone else.

The strength and weakness of voter registration is that there is no Federal data base which would be easier to game than 3000+ county systems.

No one buys hard copies anymore because they take up space. You can stream. This has nothing to do w/ politics, but rather advancing technology and changes in consumer preference.
