Sony to Write Down Nearly $1 Billion on Movie Business

Sony will probably be very happy with the protests and obnoxious speeches of the actors who believe that we the people, listen to them!

This is how we the people reply! We don't buy their stuff!

Is nothing safe from politics? We need to now make DVD sales political?

This has nothing to do with "liberal Hollywood". People are not buying as many DVDs because of streaming services. Its no different then VHS tapes being replaced by DVDs 10-15 years ago. Technology has changed the way we watch movies.

Here's a better link.

Sony Takes Big Hit As DVD Market Shrinks | Fortune.com

DVDs are a thing of the past and traditional studios are having a difficult time working with companies like Netflix and Amazon. The profit margins for making a movie isn't like it was in the 2000's.

The market is changing, I don't buy your view on why their sales are dropping.

Of course the left has an explanation for everything.... just as how they explain Hillary's loss that they still can't get over!

It's not AN explanation for the decline of mechanical media, it's THE explanation.

Why are people boycotting Sony? I hadn't heard that. If this is about DVDs, those are on the way out. We all mainly stream, now. I haven't bought a DVD in a while. Over a year ago I bought one or two off Amazon; they were old movies you can't get any other way.

Yet in every thread, it is the right who are constantly bringing up Hillary. Seems like they're the ones who can't get over it.
