Saudi Arabia isn't on the list because Trump has businesses there...

There are currently over 60,000 Saudi students studying at American universities. For the past 7-8 Saudi students have been the third highest in terms of number of international students in the US after China and India. More than 95% of these students get government scholarship paying for their tuition and monthly stipend as well as a health insurance for each student. Thus, banning Saudis would be very harmful for the US economy as well as American colleges. Remember more than 100,000 Saudis (including myself) have received a degree from a US university since 2002

All of them. If we're going to have a temporary ban while green cards and immigration policies are being reviewed, everyone should be banned.

Interesting point. I dont recall having any problems running into Radical Saudi Engineering students when I got my degree in the early 90s. They mostly got their degrees then went home.

Extreme vetting should take care of the high risk people and if they have no history keep them out.

If Trump is serious about stopping Islamic terrorists at the border then he should exclude all countries on the African continent except maybe South Africa, all ME countries including Israel (half its citizens are Muslim), all Asian countries because Islam is widespread in Asia, except maybe Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Japan. He also should exclude Russia and the Balkans, both of which have substantial Muslim populations.

ISIS is not dumb, in fact they are very clever about recruiting. They just will appeal to converts from countries not on the watch list. Trump is trying to fight a war against an enemy without borders.

Yep, I voted for 8 more, however 3 stood out as common sense (SA, Pakistan, Algeria)

This also isn't a travel ban. Anyone with a proper visa can move about just as always.

Trumpistan. Not that anyone living there can afford to travel anyway.
