Russia & the USA had an alliance to defeat the Nazi in Europe during WWII. So your point is proved wrong.
And yet once again you ignore all of the historical background. Over 70 years of it and how many nuclear weapons, boomer subs, B52 bombers, cold war bases throughout Europe you developed expressly countering Russia/Ussr drastically changing that "temporary" alliance.

European leaders pointing fingers at our shiny new president is laughable. These same leaders would be better served doing whatever they can to try and mitigate the damage they have done to their own nations and their own peoples, before it is too late. History will not be kind to these tarnished, corrupt mouth pieces.

Everyone is so shocked, but why? Have you never picked up a history book? We had two World Wars and several other major global conflicts in the 20th century; 160 million people dead in these wars; with huge realignments of power, and very abrupt swerves in the form of government within China, USSR and Germany. Why did we think that the US would be any different or special or immune? Sure, the democratic safeguards in the USA were a little more robust but the reality is that no government can withstand a concerted attack from within by the forces of anarchy. Better buckle up, because "interesting times" are ahead for the whole world.
