San Francisco sued the Trump administration on Tuesday, charging that its crackdown on sanctuary cities violates the state rights provisions of the U.S. Constitution.
The filing in federal court comes less than a week after President Trump issued orders putting cities and counties on notice that they would lose federal funding if they did not start cooperating with immigration agents.
A young woman was shot by an illegal alien using a stolen gun and he had been deported 5 times.
So what SF is saying is that they don't mind their citizens being victims of crimes at the hands of illegal aliens.
Is SF really getting that much benefit from illegal aliens that they are willing to lose federal funding and they are taking Trump to court? It sure sounds like a HUUGE waste of tax payer dollars that would be better served helping the legal homeless and other less fortunate of that city.

Its the liberal mindset. I solely believe they do this for votes. They can care less about citizens . Congress just needs to enact legislation that gives the federal government power to arrest and remove any elected official choosing not to uphold the law.
Once Jeff Sessions gets in, I think it will be a different story in the courts regarding LAW and ORDER.

OMG! Seeing that argument from San Francisco is so incredibly ironic. Democrats hate the concept of states rights. Democrats would **** on the constitution if they had the chance. They have spent the last 50 years trying to federalize EVERYTHING whether or not it even falls under an enumerated power granted to the federal government by the constitution. Now that they have lost control of the federal government, they are trotting out state's rights, a concept they don't even understand. Democrats don't care about our constitution, liberties or anything that makes America what it is, they only care about controlling everyone. .
Why do Democrats think the power to control immigration changes with the party in the White House? I vividly remember Democrats cheering the fact that the Executive Branch of the federal government controls immigration when the Arizona Supreme Court case dropped. That was only a few years ago.

Bingo..You can add Los Angeles and in fact all of California. LA mayor Garcetti and Governor Brown made it clear their first priority is illegals, period.
