Good. I dislike her. She is not qualified. I have no idea what Trump was thinking when he picked her. Bad move.

Trump was thinking just like DeVos. She wants to dismantle public schools and replace them with church sponsored charter schools that tax payer money will go to in the form of vouchers. Legal challenges are already being prepared against doing this and in the meantime she'll destroy public schools and those who went to charter schools will get their vouchers pulled and parents will be paying the complete costs of private schools.

There's nothing wrong with public schools and they have been working so well

I wonder when the Dem's will get tired of losing. 6 years of it and they seem totally ignorant to the fact as they double down on EVERYTHING that they lost on.

Oh, and now they are the party of obstruction, the very thing they railed against. Trading Places come to life. Glad to know they hold to their principles rather than playing tit for tat and revenge games with the country.

Her family has donated 200 million bucks to the GOP and donated 10 million to Trump. Why do we think the big money donor class do that? To waste their money? They want return on their investments. This is what big money in politics is all about. And Trump's supreme court pick will expand the legalized bribery in our political system.

Where I live public schools are great. Of course, we pay for it with ridiculously high school property tax. I hope nothing changes with our schools. I could not be happier with the public schools in my area.

might want to actually read up on her. she doesnt want to eliminate public schools, but rather open up the education system to competition instead.

Good, I wish they had 1 more vote so she could be defeated. She is an imbecile and knows literally nothing about education or teaching. Her sole 'qualification' is being a rich billionaire like Trump. She wants to dismantle our public school system so that her and her fellow billionaires can make some more money off for-profit charter schools.

I am all for allowing parents to send their kids to charter schools or even religious schools ... it's their choice but the reality is that a well funded public school system will always be better than any private school. Here on Long Island we have the best public schools in the nation. Why? Because we actually fund them. Perhaps places elsewhere should consider raising taxes to adequately fund their public schools instead of bashing them.

I can't believe any of them would vote for this woman. She is a hot mess that doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. All of them who vote yes should be ashamed of themselves.
