First of all, this report is almost certainly completely false.

Nothing much. Mexico ran off Standard Oil and took over their Mexican operations many decades ago when an earlier Presidente was having trouble with his people. Pemex, the big Mexican oil company, was once Standard.

Losing billions of dollars of Mexican investment won't exactly make Trump look particularly strong, I think.
I believe Trump himself could be one of them; I think he has some hotels there.
What's stopping them, common sense.

Mexico is not to to take US owned property.

There may be a lot of huffing, and puffing, but in the end, NAFTA will be negotiated, and Mexico will pay for the wall.

sounds like a good way he could boost his popularity at low cost.

do some math and figure out why your post is just stupid. Then tell me how a trade war with Mexico brings back jobs...

So Trump's plan is to humiliate any head of state who doesn't kiss his butt?

Typical of his 12-year-old mean girl mentality. That immature attitude displays just how inept and unqualified he is to be POTUS.

As you know, a trade war with Mexico would have a very negative, recession-causing effect on our economy.

6 million U.S. jobs depend on trade just with Mexico. Yes, a trade war would hurt them more, but it would hurt us too, bigly. Not to mention it would destroy our reputation as a reliable trade partner. The condemnation would be swift and severe, and we all know that China is just chomping at the bit ready to steal our lunch.

All for a useless wall in the middle of the desert that Mexico will never pay for . Trump is the scariest imbecile on earth.

Mexicos free ride is over.

Which of course would have no effect on the US at all.

Mentality of a Trump voter. Idiots, the lot of them.

Yes, 80% of Mexico's exports are to the US.

They will pay for the wall.
