This is a confusing one, even Hillary-camp liberals are no where near as anti-wealth
It's a very subtle but noticeable "vibe" that Bernie Sanders-type liberals give off, and they assume that someone making lots of money = they're somehow automatically a bad person
Sure there's some corruption/cronyism here and there, but comparing an $8/hour fast food worker to a $200k-$300k higher-up or executive, seriously??
8 men now have the same amount of wealth as half the earth. The system that created this insane wealth inequality is what Bernie was rallying against. He's not vilifying people making 200k as far as I can tell.
It's because they believe socialism or communism is the answer.
Many of them hate capitalism therefore they hate those that have become wealthy through capitalism.
Many also don't have any real life exposure to actual socialism or communism so it sounds good to them in theory. But I'm sure none of them would want to live in North Korea, Venezuela or Cuba if it came down to it.

Can you cite a specific example of what you are talking about?
I didn't memorize all of Bernie's speeches but the impression that I got was what Drew said.

Haven't most of those 8 richest given a pledge to donate most of their wealth? I know Gates and Buffet have.
Another thing that is often overlooked in that a company like Microsoft actually created many millionaires.
About 12,000 people became millionaires because of Microsoft.

If you truly believed in capitalism, you would have no problem with all the country's wealth being in California and the North East. So every time you praise Trump for intervening in business decisions, you're basically just exposing your hypocrisy.
I would type more, but I only look at this board on my phone.

Democrats are the party of the uber rich and the poor. The rich continue to get rich as they convince the poor to keep voting them in and they'll be thrown a bone. The left needs the poor so what makes any of them think the left is going to do anything to help them, they won't, it would be like cutting their own throat. The left needs poor people to stay in power. The more poor the better.
