College campuses have traditionally invited provocative and controversial individuals to campus to hold speeches. That tradition has not changed nor have the speakers grown more provocative over time. It's tolerance that has eroded and faded.

If a campus full of the best and brightest minds such as the students of Berkeley are unable to deploy the academic strength necessary to successfully debate a person with values so inconsistent to their own beliefs such as Milo, and must instead turn to violence to exclude others their First Amendment right to speak and be heard then it's time to stop federal funding of these so-called public institutions of learning and instead let them rely upon the benevolence of only like-minded individuals with fat wallets to fund such lopsided learning.

But hey - the intolerant rioters can just keep it up - the despised Right will only sit back and remind themselves to "never interfere with an enemy while he’s in the process of destroying himself".

Or, have you never noticed this?

He's a self-hating type, that one.

He also thinks that, as a gay man, he should not raise kids.

LOL.

What a nut bag.

Not surprised his book sales might be up. Not like most people who bought it will READ it, though.

Just defending a mentally ill person, kinda like what they do with Trump.

I absolutely love the fact that after getting their asses handed to them in over 1000 elections this year, Liberals have chosen to double down on the identity politics and "white supremacist" narrative that lost them the election!

You guys are making the birthers look like rank amateurs in the hysterical nut job department.

Please, by all means...keep it up lol.

First, you have to bear in mind that Milo had to live the campus out of his own safety, not because the university wanted to ban him. That was the statement of the law enforcement that accompanied him.

Second, it was not the students that led the riot, and there's no indication or proof of that.

Third, the riot was unexpected and UC Berkely took measures to quelch the riot by calling the shock police. The institution should not be held responsible for the riot.

LOL Are you kidding?

That's another 3000% on top of the 12740% already shown in the OP.

And you completely missed, via you own post no less, that the books is now #1 on Amazon. (which sells 10s of millions of books)

Zerohedge was 100% correct.

Universities as institutions should not totally be held responsible if a small group of violent anarchists infiltrate the campus and cause a riot... I think UC Berkely held the situation very well.

According to Milo last night, the Berkeley Republican Club was required to provide additional security in order for him to appear - a requirement arbitrarily handed down by the Regents to those they perceive as potentially dangerous to have on campus. They then stood down while the campus was torn up by rioters.

They most certainly deserve a share of the consequences for their actions/inactions. You and I have absolutely no proof of the identity of the rioters and what their academic status is/was.

PS: according to CNN (take it or leave it as factual as a result) it was UCB school administrators who pulled the plug on his speech.

He has a very good message about not falling for this whole "division" crap that they've been preaching. And they claimed that he's a racist Nazi...because he made fun of that crappy Ghostbusters movie and said that Leslie Jones is looks like a man. When...the producers of Ghostbusters DID make her role the stereotypical, black, masculine type of character.

But yeah, the left is scared because of his influence on college kids and it goes against many of the liberal college's agenda and he's been wakening people up, so they made up this whole thing of him being a racist neo-nazi when he's the exact opposite.

Good for him finally getting the positive exposure he deserves.
Exactly.

Yes they should. They failed at protecting people. They should have arrested those people immediately for trespassing and causing a riot. UC did nothing, they allowed it to go on on purpose.
