Liberals are not the educated people they portray themselves to be.

Liberals are created by indoctrination, not via education. They are the ultimate useless idiots Saul Alinsky, Karl Marx and George Soros truly love.

I don't know. I think the masses of liberals (e.g. the ones who they cater to for votes) are generally in the lower educational bracket or identity voters as statistics has borne out. That being said, the very well educated liberals I knew/know are just more out of touch than anything else. For example, I went to boarding school where I would say the vast, vast majority of my fellow alums are moderately to extremely liberal. However, a vast majority of them are also not living a life that is considered 'normal American' lives. They are trust fund babies, married well, one is a yoga instructor and pretty much skis in Aspen the rest of the time. It goes on but this type of lifestyle, insulated from the worries of jobs, finances, public education, etc affords them the ability to concentrate on the minutiae; their pet causes. They are very educated but not realistic. That is ultimately their problem. They have generally been given the term "intellectual elites" because while able to converse on a number of academic topics, they couldn't tell you the first thing about what it's like to live as a large, large majority of Americans do in this country. So I kind of disagree with you in this respect.

No, that is not how we vote.
NY. and CA. do not decide for the rest of us.

Good eye OP. Thanks for helpin' a brother out.
And 'conservatives' have the gall to talk about how violent 'liberals' are. Why don't you just 'load up' and go into a movie theater or church and start shooting? I was going to say something else but personal attacks are not allowed.

This is exactly the hypocrisy of the left. Take one individual thing that a person does who happens to be a conservative and lump all conservatives into that group but defend repeated violent acts by actual groups of people whether they be liberal college students or Muslim and those groups by claiming we are the ones lumpy everyone together.

I'm a conservative Democrat and appalled at how the left leaning Democrats are acting. Their beliefs are not my beliefs. I believe in tolerance here they have none. It puts a bad name on all Democrats and thus why I'm changing political parties.

Why in the world are Trump supporters in such a tizzy about a national strike day?

The lines will be shorter at the dollar store and extra shifts will be available at the Home Depot and Burger King, which they claim are the only places to work now that their low-skilled, union-wage jobs have vanished.

It will be a boon for retailers as Trump supporters will likely make a point of shopping on that day, proudly nodding acknowledgment to one another as they wander the aisles at Walmart.

Take a deep breath, it will all work out.

Fools!

Trump is anything but a fascist. I suggest you look up the definition. Donald Trump is the best thing to happen to our Country in many years. He is restoring what the Democrats have taken away over a course of many decades, rules and regulations that have infringed on our Liberty and Freedom.

You cannot continue to grow government indefinitely without great cost to our basic Freedoms. That is what has been happening, and Americans have had enough. That is why Donald Trump won.

"Progressivism" = oppression.

Shame.
They are anarchists. They are out to destroy America. They should be dealt with as harshly as possible. Prison is appropriate for many. They are destroying not only property but people's lives.

I read that these morons destroyed a Starbucks, a Wells Fargo and Chase bank, and who knows what else. Ironic that Starbucks has said they are hiring "refugees." Why aren't they hiring veterans?

So, are we to conclude that you are for this, sickofnyc? You are standing against America?
