Yet another moron who characterizes Australia as a "friend" while consigning Canada to some other category.

Oh, and one more thing; in spite of your inflated opinion of yourselves, the U.S. does not get to unilaterally decide to "send" anyone to another sovereign nation.
either way I'm sure Trudeau will love to take them

Thank God TRump is always there to save the day!!
My brother and his wife used to live in Oklahoma, Tornado Alley. There was an outbreak of deadly tornadoes and one was headed for them in Tulsa-they could see it barrelling down on them. All of a sudden Donald TRump pulls up in his limo, gets out, approaches the funnel, raises his hand and yells "You shall not pass-you're fired"!! Suddenly the tornado vanished, and the storm gave way to clear, blue skies, and calm!

True story!!!!

You want a paperbag to hyperventilate in or something?
the people we are trading are very different from those refugees from terrorist prone countries, that is why Australia is OK with them and Obama is dumb enough to support it.

Well why didn't Australia just say "no"?

Why pretend that Australia didn't have a vested interest as opposed to just being sheep?

...It is not fair to simply write off the decision as Australia blindly following American policy. It is important to remember that for most of the period before full-scale war erupted in Vietnam, it was Australia who was pushing America into further involvement in the region. SEATO was eventually used by the Americans to justify their presence in Vietnam, but it was the Australians who actually tried to invoke SEATO first. In 1962 when they wanted to stop Indonesian aggression in western New Guinea, they asked America to become involved, but the US had diplomatic commitments with Indonesia as well as Australia and said no.

The entry of Australia into the Vietnam conflict was the culmination of over 15 years of domestic and foreign policy for successive Australian governments. That can be seen domestically in the attempted banning of the communist party and the anti-communist propaganda that Australians had been subjected to for years. As for foreign policy, Australia had already demonstrated its eagerness to stop the spread of 'monolithic' communism by going to war in Korea.

If they are criminal illegals, there is plenty of space free at Guantanamo.
Free? 2.7 million per prisoner per year is not exactly free....That's one reason why it should be shut down.

They should consider the lives of innocent Americans before they try to use America as a garbage bin.
You didn't even bother to read the bit about the deal made to TRADE refugees did you?

Secondly; you've arbitrarily consigned them to criminal status when they are no different to the ones you were holding in detention camps in Costa Rica and agreed to trade off.

How do you do this automatic linear jump from refugees to terrorists without any facts to support it?

Australia would not "force" violent offenders upon you and your quantum leap assuming such is just more insanity from your kind.

Take a deep breath and calm down, lest people observe your frightened little snowflake routine and confuse you for a ........"liberal".

Don't be an idiot..... maybe you could rad at least part of the many threads on this topic to see the nuances of this agreement. You need to look up "nuance"?

You don't know much, do you...I have a solution for you...Stop believing alt right alternate facts....

Australia agreed this week to take an additional 12,000 refugees affected by the Syrian conflict. This almost doubles the intake, from 13,750 to 25,750.

Nonsense; complete and utter nonsense! More fear induced paranoia.
