I guess many people would rather believe high society chit-chat than what's going on in the world. Even the New York Times admits, in a front-page article spanning 2 1/2 whole pages, that terror attackers in the West are Not ‘Lone Wolves’ After All and How ISIS Guides Plots by Remote Control (link to same article, separated for grammar).

But since you want to go with with the argument that the left wing liberal media is reporting that more people dislike Donald Trump that really do, let me point out that the Politico article bases its suggestion on the results of a Rasmussen poll. Rasmussen is notoriously quite conservative and pro-Republican. Thus, Donald Trump may still be as unpopular as we think
