Jorge Pérez, a Miami-based billionaire real estate developer who has built several Trump-branded buildings, has declined President Donald Trump’s offer to build his proposed Mexican border wall, calling the proposal “the most idiotic thing I have ever seen or heard in my life.”
“A wall for what? You think a wall is going to stop people that are hungry?
Pérez has declined a position in Ben Carson’s Housing Department as well, citing "fundamental disagreements with Trump’s immigration and trade policies."
The majority of Americans, certainly the sane ones, agree with this man.
Gee, a contractor with a Hispanic surname doesn't want the wall. Surprise, surprise! What about the parts of the wall that have already been constructed? Are they stupid also? Hungry people, my eye! It's just that they can earn more here and get a lot of freebies and they don't care about American families going hungry because they lost their blue-collared jobs to these selfish invaders.
What about criminals and terrorists? The FBI Director has already said that those from known terrorist countries have already slipped thru our southern border right along with Mexicans and others and disappeared into our country. Just how clueless are you liberals?
There is no need for a wall along the entire border it just needs to be built along the 700 miles of the most porous areas of the border already approved by congress. Stupid, eh?
I'm willing to bet you would find that everyone living near the southern border supports the wall. I also distrust your data (wherever it came from). Everyone I know supports the wall. It was authorized nearly ten years ago.
"Push polling" is a technique whereby the questions are designed to elicit the responses expected by the entities sponsoring the polling. Example: Given that Syrian/Lebanese immigrants of the past and their descendants have contributed so much to the fabric of the USA- people such as Steve Jobs, Marlo Thomas, Doug Flutie, Dave Thomas (founder of Wendy's), Dr. Michael DeBakey, Paul Anka, Mitch Daniels (former governor of Indiana), Ralph Nader, Jerry Seinfeld and many others should we bar Syrian immigrants?
As I recall, in 2006 Senators Obama and Clinton both voted to build a wall. And they were both against gay marriage before they were for it. Hmmmm.
