Except, thats not what is happening. It is a new administration. Political appointees are replaced , but the lower level people under them are "let go". Their replacements are usually hired by the political successors, but they wont be this time around.

The political right probably wanted Gaga to get political so that they could rant about the liberal entertainment industry again. She smartly didn't provide them with that opportunity.
