Not really a fan of her type of music but she is a great performer and did and awesome job. Glad politics was left out of it.

Yep. Boring show with no songs with any kind of hook or melody. I only recognized part of one of them. Please bring back real rock bands or musicians that cater to more than one generation.

Last time the SB was here, we had the malfunction. Wondering if we would have a repeat...

NFL would have lost big time if a political message was suggested at half time. Smart move to avoid that.

While I'm not a GAGA fan by a long shot and had low expectations for this show I've got to say it was pretty darn good! Love the drones and class act she put on!

She said Hi to her dad. I thought that was cool, as well as the entire performance. Best one in years.

Just because you agree with, like or are not offended by a song doesn't make it any less political. Singing it together with Berlin's "God Bless America" was clearly a political statement. It may have been subtle because you would have to know the background, which I'm sure Lady Gaga does.

Same is true with her "Born this Way" song.

Its great that people appear not to have been offended, but again that doesn't mean it wasn't political.

Kind of reminds me of Reagan praising the patriotism in Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA."

I think if you heard the songs in another forum you wouldn't have the same reaction.

I don't think I have ever heard a half time show that I was impressed with, including with artists I really like. I'm not sure why the NFL insists on doing these shows. The sound is usually horrible. This one was better than most. Maybe it sounds better in the stadium.

Not my cup of tea but Lady Gaga has great vocal chops. Makes McDonna sound like Alvin from the three chipmunks.

If the message is so subtle that it doesn't resonate with your intended audience, then it's not much of a statement.

It resonated for me. I knew immediately the significance. Glad it didn't offend most people.
