If Trump had done this, it would headlines on all the mainstreams proclaiming "Trump's egregious pardons."

Since it was Obama, no coverage from them as usual.

I was about to say the same thing.

Where are all the stories of people who've not returned to a life of crime? (And yes, they outweigh these types of stories)

Such a naive statement. These ex-cons should have never been released for many reasons, and we all know exactly why Obama did it.
They are a different species and recidivism is their main trait.

And you don't need drug money for an initial purchase if you get vouched for. You can get it on consignment fairly easily.

That is how most get whacked. They don't pay it back in time or lose it and commit other crimes to make restitution to their supplier.

Give it time. They don't always get caught right away even if they did commit a crime.
