Did you also have money to pay for a 50k surgery or hospital stay? Most people in this country cannot afford that. Many people need medication that they can't afford because the big mafia continues tripling and quadrupling drug prices. If you can't afford medication I wouldn't call that having healthcare. The emergency room will not supply you with the medication you need. In other developed countries everybody gets taking care of. In this country, we don't care until we end up getting screwed ourselves.
The big mafia raises drug prices because Big Government prevents competition and puts undue financial burdens on bringing a drug to market.
Yes, I could have paid 50K for a surgery that would be 20K if it was not for big government.
