Most of Trump's "policies" are based on stories he supposedly heard from a friend.
It boggles the mind. All this clown has done is create a federal hiring freeze (less jobs... great?!), try to repeal every protection for consumers and citizens that exists, pick fights with everyone, and try to deport Muslims... and that's between his Twitter tantrums about the Apprentice, his daughter's clothing line, or whoever else isn't goose-stepping along with him.
He hasn't proposed a single useful policy idea for anything, aside from the usual far-right Republican dreams of a world ruled by unaccountable corporations, and he's bungled basically everything he's done so far. Anyone with a wit of common sense would be distancing themselves from his falling star as fast as they could by now.
And yet, all over the place, you see no shortage of people sputtering along, trying to explain away Trump's latest failings with, "uh... facts are fact news!" and "Duh... at least liberals don't like him. I hate liberals. I hope Trump hurts them, even if he blows up America?!"
The Russians didn't say it; Trump did. This sociopath just pulls lies out of his *** and flings them at the public. Here, he's accusing American citizens of voter fraud, and we're just supposed to bend over? He is insane.

Notice how when the facts are inconvenient to his excusers, they ignore the threads? They care more about him than they do about democracy and our freedoms. He accuses American citizens of a criminal act, with absolutely zero evidence to support that accusation, and they couldn't care less.
How do people keep defending Donny with all this ridiculousness?
He owes a public apology to the elections commissioner.
He does, but it won't happen.
We're in a state of cultural war, effectively. At this point, ANY lie, personal attack, or humiliation is acceptable to Trump-suckers provided it "advances the cause" of having their tin-pot tyrant have his way with Lady Liberty.
It is beyond disgusting the lies and idiocy they tolerate as they goose-step along, hailing Dear Leader, while hoping he "hurts some liberals today." And then they have the nerve to pretend to be "patriots," "Christians," or in any way different from the violent thugs that support petty tyrants in 3rd world nations everywhere.
