This is just sad. As an older American I've never seen anything like this from a President. Again. This man is temperamentally unfit to serve out a term as the Commander in Chief. Whether he is just thin skinned or suffering from a mental disease something is terribly wrong here. As Americans we deserve better. He has to go and fast.
His claim to fame has always been as a BS artist. He can't change. He has to exaggerate everything, including his very small hands.
That's an interesting characterization. Let's read the words of another BS artist. The words are not an exaggeration. They are completely, flagrantly false.
Quote:
I believe in states' rights and cities' rights.
Sanctuary policies are legal and protected by the Tenth Amendment. The Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution provides for the separation of federal and state powers. According to the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, the Amendment prevents the "federal government from coercing state or local governments to use their resources to enforce a federal regulatory program, like immigration," and, thus, Congress cannot compel state or local governments to collect immigration status information in order to share it with the federal government. [4] [7] Because the data are never collected due to "don’t ask, don’t tell" policies, the local and state governments are not in violation of federal law. [4]
Much of the argument devolving around the obligation to honor immigration detainers, and otherwise cooperate with federal immigration authorities surrounds the issue of states’ rights. This argument derives from the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution, which states that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”37
It is true that the Constitution preserves only a select few powers to the federal government—powers which, if left to the states, might very result in an unraveling of our republic. However, among those reserved powers are foreign policy, interstate and foreign commerce and, most specifically relevant to the issue at hand, immigration.
"The White House has distributed a list of 78 terrorist attacks to support Donald Trump’s claim that the media is failing to properly report them.
But the list includes many atrocities that received blanket western media coverage including the Paris Bataclan attacks, the Nice truck killings and the San Bernardino shootings.
To be fair, the White House was apparently looking for news on an attack in San Bernadino, CA. Since such a place does not exist, and so has not been the target of any terrorists, the media did not report on anything.
I also found it odd that for most of the US attacks, they list the attacker as "US Person". Are they trying to pretend like the attacker's name was never reported...? I don't get the point of leaving it out when other attackers are named.
And how is an attempted knife attack considered a terrorist attack, but 9 people killed in a Charleston church shooting is not?
At a meeting with the military, he stated that recent terror attacks have been un(der)reported.
Then the WH releases a list to prove same.
Except (of course) many of those on the list were reported for days.
Rather tellingly, the recent Mosque attack in Quebec got no mention AT ALL.
The man is a shameless huckster. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
"Speaking at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., Trump rattled off a series of strikes carried out by “radical Islamic terrorists,” including Sept. 11 and the more recent violence in Orlando, Fla.; San Bernardino, Calif.; Paris; and Nice, France.
“It’s gotten to a point where it’s not even being reported,” he told a group of senior commanders. “And in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it.”"
Many others including the Sydney siege and Germany’s Christmas market attack received wide international coverage."
If his mouth is open, he is lying! He continually attacks the media and calls them dishonest because he doesn't want people to believe all the dirt on him! He is the definition of an habitual lying sleaze-ball-scumbag.
Fortunately his skin is so thin and he is so nutty with his exaggerated high opinion of himself that he will soon meltdown and be gone.
DT the master of the art of alternative facts-----his juggling and handling of alternative facts is becoming legendary.
Why its spreading to his staff who are now inventing massacres that did not occur----they are even, indeed, inventing terrorist attacks that they claim were not covered.
I thing their agenda is to attempt to get the public sidetracked and focusing on these bogus alternative truths, and than they will try to ramrod a devastating piece of legislation through while we are all sidetracked----maybe this is the Brietbart strategy.
Whining never comes from the position of power. It always comes from the position of insecurity.
when was he whining.???
Do not confuse being proactive with problem and not taking the BS Liberals put out!
