Devos believes that parents and communities know what is best and what should be taught, and believes that students should not be forced to attend substandard schools simply because that is where they live.

The reaction among Democrats is similar to the reaction you might get if you tried to push a bobcat through a car wash.

Do you know what charter schools do when the kids aren't making the cut? Send them back to their public school. Imagine how long it is to have good results, with a self select the population of motivated, involved Paris, and the ability to boot the low performing students.

Personally, I am not concerned about her nomination. Her family paid $200 million for it, so lets hope she does a better job than she did in Michigan where things went the wrong way under her agenda.

Teachers unions contributed 32.2 million to Dems in 2015-16.
Almost nothing to Republicans.
