Estimates of people with African heritage varies 30-50,000 in a population of 144 million.

Racism in Russia today is mostly directed toward various Caucasian ethnicities who were slaves, then serfs who were denied human rights.

How much is " a lot".

What is your source?

Are you confusing learned ideologies of Russian- Americans with Ethnic Russians in Russia?

This. The whole premise of this conversation is based on an assumption about Russia's immigration patterns that is not borne out by the facts.

Russia: The World's Second-Largest Immigration Haven | The National Interest Blog

"It is difficult to measure the true volume of refugees who entered during much of the nineties, but the number of ethnic conflicts in Central Asia certainly was the source of large flows. More recently, the 2005 Andijan Massacre in Uzbekistan also brought many refugees to Russia. Currently, there are many asylum-seekers in Russia from Afghanistan, Angola, Ethiopia, Somalia, and growing numbers of refugees from eastern Ukraine. "

Interestingly, there is also a second wave of emigration of educated Russians going on right now, a so-called brain drain. I wonder if Russia will see a significant demographic shift as a result?

Where did you take these numbers? If even half of Muslims living in Moscow, it means Moscow entirely Muslim city, and every man. Do the math on the calculator, just work.

Conclusions about rassizm, it is generally of a parallel reality.

As for Russia being "great" or "not great," I would have to live there for a while before making up my own mind on that score.
Many of the initial settlers came to the colonies in search of religious freedom, specifically from the Church of England which they perceived was being influenced by the pope. These Christian settlers banned the celebration of Christmas.

They overtook the native cultures/ languages / lands that existed before their arrival.

Subsequent waves of immigrants from other areas of Europe refused to assimilate and pushed their own agendas and cultures including the celebration of Christmas.

Some of these fine Christians brought with them the culture of ethnic and religious discrimination, slave trade and denial of human rights to certain people.

During the greatest waves of immigration, the only criteria was a pulse and a superficial semblance of good health, with allowances for the arduous voyage.

Immigrants tended to live in ethnic ghettos, unrelated families sharing tiny accommodations They a maintained their own cultures in urban areas. What is now NYC was a patchwork of ethnic "no go zones" controlled by local politicians.

I have lived in or near large urban areas my whole life. No shortage of communities whereby immigrants from all over the world strive to maintain their cultures. Some of these communities become celebrated tourist attractions and dining destinations.

It has and continues to take generations and public education for assimilation.

Which one do they honor the most, the Czarist rule, communism, or the brand new Russia
