Once again, where's the hypocrisy?

The school properly anticipated the peaceful student protesters but the school didnt adequately anticipate the Occupy Oakland/ Anarchist rioters who caused the situation to quickly deescalate.

We can all monday morning quarterback after the fact but the damage and injury was at a minimal.

They should have anticipated that the protest could turn violent. That is a possibility at any large gathering. And to not act when it did turn violent? That is just insane.

You wouldn't be saying that if you were one of the people who got beaten.

True but 6 out of 1,200 is better than what it could have been.

I dont condone what happened but we must assess what happenef practically, not emotionally.

Soros only paid $50k to the protesters for that little display of juvenile petulance. He expected a much better ROI than just $100k's worth of damage. They didn't perform as expected and may be out of a 'job' before the next protest forms. Either that or they will be told outright that the next time they better make sure that there is MUCH more damage/drama and even more coverage and even less police interference. Any story about trying to fine them, sue them, or stop them next time is just that .. a 'story' to placate or fool the world. He has absolutely no intent to do so. And Berkeley doesn't either.

The man is determined to use his paid pawns to destroy everything in this country. And with the help of the ignorant and the stupid he is going to get his way unless we start calling him out left, right and center till someone charges him for/with these 'crimes' and does something to stop him. He knows that most of them are just 'anarchists in training' but I think his patience is running a bit low right now. I actually hope so in fact - maybe people will start telling the truth about who is funding them and why when he starts getting angry with them for, as I said, not performing up to the standards he feels they need to for the $ he is giving them.

Hmmm. I wonder how they would have reacted had these been right wing anarchists? For some, seems that anarchy is cool, so long as it's leftist driven. I remember a lot of leftists on here calling for cops to stomp mudholes in TEA party protesters, who weren't even getting destructive. But it's hands off these Berkely clowns .

I don't think most property insurance covers acts of war or civil unrest.
