I was thinking the same thing. If Mexico becomes a better place there will be no reason for anyone to "move on up" to America. If Mexicos economy starts to boom with all this money and business coming from the EU Americans might actually start sneaking into Mexico.

Actually they will treat you very nicely.
I just returned from the Mexican Consulate in Orlando today where I obtained my Residente Permanent (like a green card in US).
Too bad Mexico isn't next door to the EU. Then they can have all the benefits of being flooded with illegals as well as all the trade. What the EU should do is open their continent to the Mexican people and provide several million of them with free education, free healthcare, subsidized housing among other things they receive from us. Afterward, get back to us and let us know how it's working out.
Mexicans can Go to EU Visa FREE. and Yes Mexico and Europe have Both Universal Health Care Deductible Free with not Co-pay, and TUITION FREE UNIVERSITY EDUCATION. while US and Canada do not.
Because you dont read it in that paper, but The Mexican government has received Communication from Latin-America from Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, PerĂº, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Guatemala etc. supporting our possition, and also from China, India, Germany, France, Italy, and of Course SPAIN.
China has been insisting in having a Free Trade Agreement with us for DECADES, and they are now approaching us even more frequently, because they know that Trump is MAD, and that USA going Protectionists is in fact Retreating, falling back from competence which means leaving voids.
Australia has already said Yes to a China lead TPP. Mexico is being invited once and again and again to join, but Mexico is Waiting to the Agencies of USA to verify that The Relation between USA and Mexico is completely Broken to make its move. If Mexico moves before a full dismissal from USA then we would be giving Trump the argument to close NAFTA since we moved Away first. But if we don't move and put on him the charge of ending NAFTA then he will have no moral authority to reclaim Mexico for Joining the Rest of the World. Ending NAFTA is going to have a Huge Political Cost for eithe Mexico or USA gorvernments, and no ome wants to pay with it. If Trump Ends NAFTA his politcal Capital will be seruiously damaged among industrials and Farmers, and thus he likely will "Negociate" a "better" deal which basically will mean nothing more than laboral protections, Else he will need to end the treaty and thus leaving Mexico Free to deal with Brasil, Russia, India, China, Argentina etc.

What can go wrong with a country who practices currency manipulation and copyright infringement and has one billion more people than you do?
