"Cory Gardner & Dean Heller are Trump MVPs so far. Voted with him 100% of the time despite being from Clinton states."

I imagine Heller and Gardner are sacrificing their political careers for Trump. Heller will lose reelection in 2018 and Gardner will lose in 2020. Gardner is already in trouble by going out of his away to avoid his constituents and claiming his opponents are from out of state, ignoring that Clinton won the state by 5%. Sen. Gardner Responds To Massive Backlash Over Comment « CBS Denver

I don't know.
We all learned in November that predicting the outcome of elections is a little tricky.

And you have to remember there are 4 (R) and 3 (D) US Representatives in Colorado.
The Colorado state senate is 18 (R) and 17 (D).
State representatives goes the other way - 37 (D) and 28 (R).

I wouldn't predict anything just yet.

10 Dem Senators are up for reelection in 2018 in states that Trump won and a total of 14 more Dem Senators are on the ballot in 2018 than Republicans. In non-Presidential election years, Republicans usually dominate. Republicans are likely to pick up another 5-7 Senate seats in 2018.

Looks like you're on to something there.

But I remember back when the Dems had a super majority and the R's were "all washed up". The D's made absolute asses of themselves! The President constantly mocked R's, insulted the SCOTUS, and the D's passed whatever they felt like while striding around with giant gavels and on and on. They were just insufferable!

I hope the R's pick up a couple of seats. But even more I wish some D's would break ranks and join in with the program. This modern age is way to partisan for my liking. I would like to see it end.

When I read the title Trumps MVP's I thought this thread was going to be about the Superbowl Champs the New England Patriots !

It is funny how parallels were drawn between Trump and the Patriots. I'm so happy that Trump and the Pats won.

Well said. There's no doubt the Republicans have the capability of blowing this opportunity if they don't focus on getting things done for the Americans that voted for them.
