Apparently the rules allow for such a move by mcconnel.

Imagine that! The legislative body has such rules.

MMc didn't make it up, he simply used the rules. Now if the media was not a propaganda machine, they would have silenced EW by taking her rambling nonsense apart in editorials. Alas and alack, EW is on the edge of a breakdown.

MMc should have let her hang herself on her own merit, maybe even prod her to new heights of false indignation to a point where she loses her mind.

Harry reid did the same thing, silencing dems and repubs and necessary agrument.

Obama silenced generals and cia reports to fit his narrative.

You're RIGHT! What they should have done is pepper sprayed innocent people that were just standing around and lit a generator and tree on fire, tossed rocks, bottles, tossed explosive devices, shot roman candles at people, lit off other fireworks and broke windows to stop her from speaking.

Oh wait, that's what the Warren supporting loon left does, commit multiple felonies/assaults in the name of...

I did not watch it-so they ganged up on her- that's OK- - they have too many dollars signs up their noses- but OK she can talk to the public- because to me -for the most part what she has to say -is right

Dear, there were only 43 Democrats and 51 Republicans present .

Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz were headed to their debate. No idea where the rest were, but right before they started speaking/debating, McConnell called for a motion to request the presence of missing senators.

Funny how you made the above outlandish claim, and didnt mention the 2 republican votes either.

It is almost as if you just made an assumption without any background.

No irony at all. But I get why you make poor attempt to discredit it since you are unable to address anything said.

Pocahontas lied about being a Cherokee.

The US Senate finally had enough of her nonsense and voted to shut the liar down. This includes Democrats who did not vote to support her.

Case closed.

That's also probably not true.

Very disrespectful of you, Waldo, but I would expect no less. It seems you love to put cute little names on people who are of different races and gender than you.

McConnell used an arcane Senate rule to muzzle Elizabeth Warren. What is this, Russia? Republicans should be ashamed.

How nice for Senators having a rule the truth can't be told about them on the Senate floor.
