I just now watched a CNN rerun of part of yesterday's Jake Tapper interview with Kellyanne Conway. On it, she is mending fences with CNN over fake news and apologizing for her seeming fabrication of the the Bowling Green massacre.
And then she goes and does it AGAIN. Tapper didn't seem to pick it up nor has any other news source I know of. I googled up a transcript to make sure I heard her right.

JAKE TAPPER: Have you or President Trump ever said anything incorrect? Have there been any falsehoods coming from your mouths?
KELLYANNE CONWAY: Absolutely. I did this past weekend. I regreted it tremendously. I used the wrong word to describe several times. I've spoken literally millions of words I'm sure. I've been on CNN over a thousand times I'm sure.
TAPPER: You're referring to the Bowling Green massacre.
CONWAY: Yes I am. Because I felt badly about that and I apologize and I rectify. I want to say something else about that. I'm very happy to have raised awareness. I'm told by colleagues at ABC that by Friday the highest trending article there was an article from three years ago on ABC.com because it was what I was referring to and I was referring to two Iraqi nationals who came to this country and are still in jail. Part of al-Qaeda. I'm glad to have raised awareness and sorry it that I did it inartfully.
TAPPER: You cited a massacre that didn't happen. You said the media didn't report it.
CONWAY: That's right. No, no, what I mean is the media didn't cover the master minds. The massacre happened in Iraq.
It was a domestic FBI sting operation. The money and weapons the terrorists thought they were shipping to Iraq were retained by the FBI. The two-men were arrested in the US as part of the sting. And remain here in prison.
How can she do this? I suppose she can say that she meant the massacre WOULD HAVE happened in Iraq. And that she again misspoke. Or it's just non-stop spinning getting all the key words in there, including another "massacre."

I don't think that a true pathological liar can stop lying AND she has the incentive to keep her position within this overtly corrupt cabinet and to procure a position for her lawyer husband as well. She has sold her soul for monetary gain and everyone knows it.
And 0bama pronounced "Corps" as "corpse". At least 3 times. In 1 day. In the same speech. To the Corps.
A mispronunciation is not a lie. The WH is spinning up stuff to feed to Kellyanne and they cannot spin it right. It keeps backfiring. They are inept. I am not sure Kellyanne is intentionally lying, but the whole WH communications gang is looking pretty silly.
All she has to do is say "France". We all know that Muslims are trying to blow up the west. It's the liberal media that is trying desperately to shield terrorists. If you disagree with them then they call you a Nazi. That's how absurd it's gotten.

She's actually a pretty smart cookie, so I think that if she were going to intentionally lie, it would be a better one than making up a story out of thin air about terrorists when so many real and verifiable examples are available.
Personally, I think she didn't have all the facts that she thought she did, or she simply misremembered key details about the story.
Of course, the good news for Ms. Conway is this was on CNN so practically no one will ever see it.

The problem is that she said this on CNN, MSNBC, A phone interview, and a local TV interview. I get that no one corrected her in real time, but these interviews took place over a 3 to 4 day period.
It looks like she was pushing a narrative for the Muslim Ban, and when caught the Trump White House backed her up by releasing a list of events they claim the MSM didnt cover.
So now instead of talking about Conway and her pushing a narrative with false information, the media are all pulling archive tape to show that they indeed covered all this information that Trump released.
I get it, you support the idea of what the President is doing, but this is going down hill fast.
Funny how when Kellyanne says "massacre" instead of "terrorists" the MSM latches on to it for weeks. A sitting US senator thinks the Russians attacked Korea and....crickets.
Are their actually people dumb enough to watch CNN anymore?
