The United States has officially elected the most sensitive man in the country to serve as president. Not sensitive to the needs of others, the way a president ought to be, but sensitive to anything said about him that isn’t the equivalent of a fireworks display and a 21-gun salute. We initially suspected that he was going to handle criticism poorly, and he showed no lack of evidence when it came to his temperament, but his inability to maintain any sort of composure is showing that this job is going to crush him spiritually and intellectually.
Trump is going to resign. This is a man whose primary concern is being popular and hearing people clap for him, a man who continues to make speeches about national holidays focus on how much better his ratings were when he was hosting The Apprentice. He’s striving to prove to people that he’s popular and he’s liked, but eventually he will be ground down and try to find a way out when this proves fruitless. He’s going to try and tell us that we did this, that we broke a powerful, successful man through our cruel torment.
He’s going to make it seem as if Alec Baldwin’s impersonation of him is in violation of Geneva Conventions, and that CNN’s coverage of him was patently false and he was unable to make anyone see the light. He’s going to try and make us feel bad for him, but we won’t. Donald Trump is not going to be impeached through a lengthy trial marked by heroic statements from lawmakers of both parties, nor is he going to be undone by his financial ties that he has yet to disclose. Never going to happen. You are right about his ego-mania; but you are wrong if you think that Trump will EVER admit defeat or EVER admit to a fault; or would EVER resign voluntarily. He will burn down the country with him before he ever does that. He will destroy that which he cannot overcome or defeat. That is his nature. He will go to his grave with hate in his heart for all those who cared to defy him, just like Roy Cohn his mob lawyer mentor; just like his father Fred before him. But before he goes to his grave he will have the sick satisfaction of spreading chaos and destruction in every way possible. This IS the man we elected, do not fool yourself.

Of course all politicians are reluctant to admit to a fault. Where you are going wrong is this - Trump is NOT a politician, in any way shape or form. Sure he USED politics and hijacked the Republican ticket to get elected; but Trump is entirely motivated by power, wealth, and the desire for adulation. He does not have a political bone in his body, he could not care less about the GOP platform or the underlying conservative principles of that party, or the underlying democratic principles of our country for that matter. On top of that, Trump clearly exhibits the characteristics of megalomania. We've had a whiff of that in some earlier Presidents like Nixon for example, but Trump is on a whole new level; he is uniquely dangerous to all of us. When cornered or defied Trump will take no prisoners nor care who or what he destroys; a classic demagogic personality. Unprecedented in American history.
I've noticed something different about Trump lately, when he is talking. He now drops his voice down to almost a whisper, and says the words as if he is speaking in confidence. Hard to explain, but listen to his latest conversations, and he is no longer speaking loudly and clearly, but at a muted level.
Maybe he thinks this makes him more sincere, or more Presidential, but , for whatever reason, he has changed his voice. It could also be that he is getting drilled from so many fronts that he is simply tired and worn out from all the attacks.
As for him going out with a whimper, it could be. He already seems to be getting the message that not everyone thinks he is MR GREATEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD, and that has to be upsetting him. How could anyone on earth not think he is great ???

We may never again see anyone with as thin of skin as this crybaby! The man who says "he never settles"(court cases) when in fact, that is exactly what he most often does, so it doesn't go to court with the resulting guilty finding!
If clinging to such hopes comforts you, I am glad for you. Do not cling too hard however. If it's all that's keeping you afloat you're going to be in for a rough time.
For a LONG time. 8 years for Trump and then Pence will step up.

Google "Public speaking" and read extensively and you'll understand Trump's manner of speaking. Fragile? You got to be kidding! Fed up and frustrated by what our country has become like the rest of us and none of us are "fragile", it isn't like we are the ones that are in a fetal position on the floor in a puddle of tears!
