Actually no. I remember quite clearly The Donald saying that the Health Care Plan was all set to go on day one. It needed only the final touches, but it was ready to go.

I guess that was not true, was it?

There were many such attempts in the six years that followed its passage. They all ended when the GOP, who held the majority in Congress, flatly refused to consider any of them, because their goal was to make sure the ACA failed. So now you want to blame the Democrats for not fixing what the Republicans refused to consider fixing? Yeah, that sounds like typical GOP logic.

They made it difficult when there was a Democrat in the White House. But now all obstacles have been removed. They have the votes in Congress and they have a president more than willing to sign the legislation. They promised to do it on day one. What's the hold up?***

***Go ahead, you can say it. We all know the truth, which is that they don't have a clue what they're doing, and never did.

Bill Clinton promised to fix healthcare in 1992, and utterly failed to even offer anything in 8 years.

Obama promised to fix healthcare in 2008, and created a mess that is imploding as we speak.

The democrats have failed to fix healthcare for the last 25 years, Trump hasn't even been in office for 25 days, and you dems are demanding a solution right now.

In a couple of months Obamacare will be replaced.

It would happen sooner, but Trump has a cabinet to force through due to all the going on in Congress, Elizabeth Warren's needing to be told to sit down and shutthebleepup and whatnot.

I personally think paddles should be allowed. A jingle could be written for the Democratic isle (and throw in a few Republicans as well)... He's a Nazi, She's a Nazi, wouldn't you like to be a Nazi too?...

Neither did he know his cabinet would have 5 out of 15 members with which to operate on his 20th day in office with Democrats not just dragging their feet but kicking and wailing in public and blowing chunks of gerbers all over the walls everywhere they go.

Democrats give nothing ever. They take everything. They are useless infantile liars and theves.

Don't worry. We'll all remember this in two years. Just you wait.

Let me tell you something, folks - that SUCKS.

And yet, according to the ACA, "catastrophic" coverage only is not legal. A pig by any other name...I mean, what else IS our coverage but catastrophic only?

It's ridiculous. But hey - if I get pregnant, I'm covered! (I'm 55 and don't have a uterus, so that's pretty unlikely.)
Sorry for your predicament. Help is on the way soon.

The US Healthcare system is being crushed under the weight of it's own expense. Time for you to do some research, save your money and go overseas for your Healthcare.
That's a lie, the latest pundit rant of fake news from the left. They are working on it at lightning speed and will cram it through the throats of the dinosauric congress one scoop at a time.

Clinton in 1992 was stopped by the Republicans. Obama passed a law that has helped tens of millions of people.

They are both gone from office now, so deflecting to them because your guy has failed to live up to his promise won't cut it. It's time for the big mouth Republicans who gleefully told us how they couldn't wait to take down the ACA to step up to the plate.

Donald Trump promised to begin the repeal and replace of the ACA on day one. Those were his words. Three weeks later it's obvious he has nothing to replace it with, and he never did. He's a liar. Not that that comes as any great surprise to many of us.

45 promised a solution on DAY ONE!

He's signed EOs for all sorts of things already. Has he lost interest in this project?
As others have noted, the GOP that voted multiple times to repeal the ACA also claimed that they had a replacement ready.
They surely must know the ins and outs of the legislation by now, no?

So, why the delay on the ACA replacement?

"President Donald Trump's statement over the weekend that a Republican replacement for the Affordable Care Act won't be done until late 2017 or early 2018 is the latest sign of trouble for the GOP's legislative agenda on health policy, tax cuts, and other priorities."

Trump speaking Nov 8, 2016:

“When we win on Nov. 8 and elect a Republican Congress, we will be able to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare. We have to do it,”

“I will ask Congress to convene a special session so we can repeal and replace,” he continued. “And it will be such an honor for me, for you and for everybody in this country because Obamacare has to be replaced. And we will do it, and we will do it very, very quickly. It is a catastrophe.”

The Democrats rushed the ACA into law and look at the abortion it turned out to be.
