Instead of looking at themselves and going" how did we lost to Donald Trump and end up in the worst position since the 1920s" instead they are doubling down on their rhetoric and continuing to call all Trump voters racists, sexists, psychopaths and that is the only reason why they voted for Trump/ They clearly feel they don't have to change anything. On one hand they won the popular vote so you could say this is justified but on the other hand racking up the vote in California won't help you win elections.
