We're in more danger from a local nut with an assault weapon than some guy from Yemen. (Although, maybe that's changed since the bungled raid in Yemen where we killed all those women and kids.)
Bannon did this Muslim travel ban to cause a commotion, see what he could get away with.
It was a good way to divert attention from folks noticing that right after Trump goaded the Intelligence Community into revealing their sources on his Russian connections, one ex-KGB agent was found dead in the back of his Lexus, and three Russian cybersecurity experts were hauled off to prison with bags over their heads.
Has anyone considered that the maniacs acting out in the streets and reported overseas have caused the decline?
The protests are being reported in a positive light across the EU and western world. The people saying "riot" etc are just right wingers, nobody else is buying that story.. in fact Europeans are protesting Trump in France, UK, Germany etc...

Well we heard that Hard bookings already declined a couple of percent, but it looks like it might be much worse .
Globally fight searches to the USA have fallen off a cliff, and the bad news is this is the busiest time of year for vacation bookings.
Overall we can see a 17% decline in searches for travel TO the USA! And remember Tourists are counted as exports in terms of deficit. A drop as high as 20% of tourists in FL would be a major disaster. Hopefully it will not be as bad and maybe visitors will come later, but it could be worse if Trump does not stop his crazy antics .
This is what happens when the world sees us as the bad guys, it could cost the economy billions if Trump does not do something to turn this around.

I see from the first article that 21% decline from Mexico, that can't be good considering most tourists that visit the U.S. Come from Mexico (19 million back in 2015), next closest is Canada with 11 million, 3rd is U.K. With 4.6 million.

Could you please explain where they got the impression they would be treated poorly? Poorly in what way and by who?
Having plenty of friends abroad, I know many who are saying they won't visit US for a while. Not only are they turned off by Trump, but there are all kinds of immigration measures which will harass tourists by asking for their social media presence etc.
I won't be visiting Europe, especially France and Germany either. I was thinking a bout a cruise with one of the ports in Turkey but changed my mind because of the attacks.
The problem is, the left want to think of Trump as the enemy instead of the real issues.
I have a coworker in Germany who is flying to Bahama in a month. He said, they purposely are not flying thru USA because of immigration hassle.
Unless they have a stamp in their passport from one of the 7 countries why would this be a problem? The Visa Waiver Program is still in effect and their passport is all they need.
