This is no different than the old corporate shell game of going out of business under one name and opening up again under a new name to avoid lawsuits and penalties.

Trump is doing exactly that, he is claiming he has nothing to do with the old business, that was Don Jr. But it is THE SAME DAMN FAMILY !!!!!

Go ahead, Trumpees, try to defend this man, but he is a crook and as dishonest as they come. And you somehow think this is ok !

This story was in Vanity Fair's January edition.
Quite a story about how daddy Trump saved his son
and screwed the city of Charleston SC.

We will be seeing more and more of this and just as the Trump University swindle had to be paid off quickly, one must wonder if this will be swept under the rug quickly as well.
Sounds like Lockheed might be the responsible party....

The decision by the Department of Health and Environmental Control could leave Trump's DB Pace company responsible for the cleanup, regardless of whether it caused the pollution at the site, which was originally used by Lockheed Martin.

Lets see how this plays out. If Trump is responsible for the clean up, then we can have a discussion about it, until then it's all dems talking out of their back sides.

Is there an issue?

Has a court ruled that Trump is responsible for the cleanup?

This piece details some of the relevant background info re: Apparently Don Jr. is a crooked chip off the old block.

Quote:
...According to his most recent personal financial disclosure form, President Trump still owns the Pace Street warehouse, where Don Jr. and Blackburn started out. Most of the space in the warehouse — 114,500 square feet — had been leased to an industrial textile company. In April 2016, the company sued, alleging that leaks in the roof caused $4.5 million in damage.

In a recent court filing, D B Pace said it was not responsible for the alleged damage, because it occurred before the firm took ownership of the building.

D B Pace has also tried to take advantage of a South Carolina program that would shield it from responsibility for pollution caused by previous landowners. To qualify, D B Pace told the state that it had no ties to any prior owner of the warehouse, including Titan Atlas Manufacturing. But state regulators recently asked about the Trump family’s ties to both TAM and D B Pace, according to the New York Times. ...

And the Trumpees wonder why we hate this dishonest SOB so much !
All the good Americans love Trump, only the anti-Americans hate him. If you suppoered obama and hillary, you are not an American.... or perhaps it's just ignorance...
