There is an old saying that you should never interfere when your enemy is in the process of destroying himself. This seems lost on the left. They are intent on making such a ridiculous spectacle of themselves with their over the top hatred, violence and vitriol that they are calling attention away from Trump's misdeads.

Democrats are convincing themselves that the best strategy to win back power is to embrace full-on, hair on fire oppositionalism from the start. They may not actually have much of a choice, since their base demands nothing less, with a dose of daily vitriol and hysteria thrown in. In just the first three weeks of the Trump presidency, senators have boycotted hearings, staged all-night filibusters, and turned the volume to MAXIMUM fighting Trump's Cabinet picks.

Around the country, there have been massive (mostly peaceful) demonstrations, but ominously, the Berkeley campus burned as masked thugs successfully sought to shut down a speech. Some GOP representatives are beginning to express concerns over their safety as protesters throng townhall meetings to protest the repeal of Obamacare. More is to come, as progressive groups report nearly unprecedented levels of engagement and activism. The question is just how to channel the anger.

There's a difference between peaceful protest and the riotous destruction that has been going on. Even if it's caused by paid thugs, it's still a poor reflection on the whole.

naw, we get it. You are upset that the Left is exposing Bannon and Trump as what they are. You wish the left would go away and let you enjoy the rights trumpy bumpy daddy figure....

sorry to tell you mate, we will be here there and everywhere. Using law to beat Donald over the head time and time again. We will throw a wall of money at lawyers we will make the next 2 years as annoying as we can. and frankly if we don't win in 2018 It wont matter because by 2020 you will be begging for Trump and GOP to be pushed out.

Once ACA is removed expect things to get vastly worse as millions more move to our side when they hear the stories of friends , families and neighbor who lose coverage and suffer....

as to violence well that is simply not true and you have NO data to show a spike in violence across the USA. the numbers have hardly shifted.

Exactly. We will not sit quietly by as this administration tears the country apart, department by department. When would be a good time to speak up, OP? After healthcare is gone? After public education is decimated? After civil rights and women's rights are returned to the 1950s? When our water and air quality fall to unhealthy levels? After Social Security and Medicare are privatized and seniors return to having to choose between food and medicine?

Nope. We may not be able to stop this administration at the moment, but we can certainly make sure everyone knows exactly what they are doing. Ignorance is the enemy here.

WE WON!!! WE WON!!! WE WON!!!

Yeah, we know, honey. Too bad you have nothing to add to a thread which is about keeping the current administration accountable for their actions other than mindless cultish cheerleading.

Are they helping Trump with their behavior? Absolutely. Is it good for the country...no. But the left will mindlessly justify anything because - Trump.

Continuing to shine a bright light on the things this administration is doing is absolutely good for the country.
