Yes, and he is following the law.

The president has plenary power to bar any alien or class of aliens from this country if, in his sole judgment, admitting said alien or aliens would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.

The courts have no say over this.

None.

Period.

If the courts tried to force Trump to their will, they would find that they lacked the ability to do so.

He is in control of the military, the FBI, etc.

Then show us facts that prove that these immigrants were a terrorist threat to us. Because I have shown that they are not. Not a single American has lost their lives to these refugees with the current vetting procedures in place between 1975 and 2015.
A refugee from Somalia assaulted American citizens with his car and then stabbed some of them over Thanksgiving weekend at Ohio State University.

Another refugee from one of the banned countries carried out a terrorist attack in St. Cloud Minnesota.

So you are wrong.

In the end, Trump's own party will turn on him. He's already damaging their brand and they've never been comfortable with him to begin with. It's only a matter of when; not if.
Re: our financial systems.

The American people have been preached at for literally decades about how big government is bad by the ideologues from all political parties, including the big 2 & specifically by the free market fundamentalist party ... . If big governments are so bad, why are big banks so acceptable? Why not pay more attention to the 'capture' conducted by the FIRE sector? Why should the American people agree (Stockholm syndrome styled) to be held hostage? Wouldn't it make more sense to resist the assault on individual & collective freedoms, particularly when it's been going on for decades no matter who is President?

As for the idea that Donald was the lesser of two evils, I don't understand why anyone truly believed that. He has no experience in government, politics, or law, nor any education in it and his actions have made that lack of comprehension abundantly obvious. Also, his arrogance and ego makes Kanye West look humble, and his lack of understanding about the huge differences of government sector and private sector employment has led to a series of gigantic missteps, mistakes that will be hard to recover from. I get it; America has problems, which was why many people voted for such a completely different candidate as he. But he is certainly not our Messiah, and we'll be lucky if we come out of his administration unscathed.
There's no doubt that our current vetting process for granting Visas and admitting refugees are less than adequate. The San Bernadino wife came to our country on a fiance visa, and it was later discovered that she had a large presence on Facebook espousing her radical beliefs. The nightclub shooter in Florida was raised by radical parents who were refugees.

The last administration was so bumbling that over 100 illegals scheduled for deportation were granted citizenship in error. If we can't even vet people inside our own country, how can we vet them when they are coming from hotbeds of extremism?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being careful who we let in our country. Ellis Island had strict standards of who was let in, and many people were sent back home. 100 years later we are expected to let every Tom, Dick and Harry who wants entry into our country be welcomed with open arms? I don't think so.

The 9th court was dead wrong on this. I have absolutely no doubt that Trump will prevail in the end.

me thinks, Trump daddy has you putting your critical thinking skills on hold....
You guys keep saying he lies, but how about throwing a little proof out there.

For starters he goes tweet-tweet-tweet.tweet-tweet-tweet....like an avian version of the Energizer Bunny.

All depends on how long he stays in office. I think their patience will pass if a year from now the rich are richer and nothing changed on their end.

Tweet tweet tweet allows him to bypass an unfriendly and terribly biased media.

The conservative National Review doesn't like him.

Plenty of Republicans in Congress don't like him -- Paul Ryan, Lindsey Graham, John McCain....Nothing new there.

The fact is, he's president.

He is making this country great again.

His opponents don't like that.

And that's good.

If they did like it, then America would not become great again after all.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you are a trump supporter?

I wonder if it was the very first line attacking a person in a demeaning way with no facts to back it up and the same ignorance that's taken over the worst part of America since Trump?

Or it could have been the same 'puppet' responses to facts listed by rational people from any political affiliation?

The most blaring dead give-away was the complete retreat from reality and what's going on right around you that was the clincher.

Well that and literally the only real defense any brainwashed puppet Trump has now is 'He's making America Great Again." He'll make America Great Again".

Clever, a repeat of a slogan from the only barely understandable sentence coming out from '45's' mouth (because I refuse to give him the title President until he earns it) from day one in response to more details on his actual plans for all Americans.

Reports coming from inside the White House say behind closed doors Trump is becoming unhinged and underestimated the difficulty and being president. Hilliary warned us all. It wasn't just campaign rhetoric.

This is going to be harder than Donald Trump expected - CNNPolitics.com
