Because things like logic and reasoning don't get through to liberals, a bit of rough handling is really the only way to deal with them. Kind of like when parents sometimes have to spank their kids.

Well, it's good to know you are pro-Big Government, Big Brother oligarchy at least.
Love the crowd cheering the cops on for taking these a-hats down. Makes me think even Portland isn't as loony-left as it's often portrayed.
I live in this area. We are not nearly as loony as portrayed in some ways, and far more in others.
What many miss here is that we have different sets of protestors. The vast majority 99.9% are VERY peaceful. Just occasionally loud. But there is a small element that isn't. That thinks blocking public transport is a good idea, and our cops won't tolerate that. And shouldn't. Its one thing if trimet gets slowed down because of heavy foot traffic, thats a side effect, and while a hassle is OK. Its another when they intentionally block traffic.
BTW this wasnt a political demonstration that day. This was a protest because a homeless mom and her infant were left to freeze to death outside because we can't seem to deal with the homeless issues. Its funny how all of you assume this was a political protest, and want them taken down because they dared to go against your god Emperor President Trump.
Nope. This was about a mentally ill womans child freezing to death. BTW It wasnt even the first person to freeze to death hear this year, I think it was the 4th or 5th.
