Trump is an overweight old man with a bad dye job and a bad spray tan and abnormally small hands. His position lends him power, certainly, but I had no idea anyone considered the man himself "forceful". The crushes this guy has inspired are really amazing!

A couple of things: that expression may not mean what we think it means. He's Japanese and their are cultural differences.

And of course, it was probably just a reaction to that situation. That long handshake isn't uncommon in that situation, which is just a facade for the cameras. It's to show the illusion of power, like public displays of affection or public prayer. No handshake is any other scenario is like that.

I do support it's possible Trump was trying some power play by forcing the handshake to go on. I'm guessing it didn't work.
