Must have read citydata complains of leaving her alone in the city yesterday. ,, all that is just diplomacy. Glad she stepped up... Maybe see something new . But the white robe looking dresses. Each. Looks like cult looking garb, throw some mixed colors.
Michelle spent the entire visit with Akie Abe each time they visited DC.
Looked quite comfortable to me.
Of course, Michelle is a beautiful woman and she and Barack are clearly raising a loving, tightly cohesive family unit. But, why appreciate that when you can call her a mooch for living in the White House (the house we citizens own to provide a home for the First Family) while giving Melania nearly a half million of our tax dollars PER DAY to live in her NY skyscraper?

Of course Michelle is beautiful. Any objectively minded person can realize that. But Michelle had 2 things going against her. One, she's a Democrat. That knocks her down from graceful to plain Jane. It's nice to see her embracing the role now, engaging with foreign dignitaries and bringing some class and dignity to the role.
It was made from a thin material and unlined. I don't consider a see-through dress bringing "class and dignity" to the role of First Lady. Beautiful dress....for a day at the pool.

Compared to Melania, whose biggest accomplishments in life were being a centerfold model or whatever, and marrying into wealth. Melania isn't even a 1/4 of the person Michelle is.
