No no no. Not deported, arrested. Big difference

You make it sound like only the adult men work.

The fact that those are the arrest numbers for a "crack down" and not just a normal day is the reason we're in this mess to begin with.

There's nothing liberal or conservative about arresting and removing criminal illegal residents. It's common practice and common sense...

What difference is that? A boost for the prison industrial complex?

Again, I am only pointing out that we are deporting less people now than before.

You are having a hard time with this.

Depends..

You are comparing nationwide deportation numbers to ICE arrest numbers for LA only.

How many ICE arrests per day was common in LA under the Obama administration?

Find that out and you'll have a more accurate comparison.

If wanted for a crime. Going to jail! If re-entries. After being deported, again deported... It's not all just simple, it's case by case .

Yes, I read about one who had been arrested because his car windows were tinted too darkly. Dangerous criminals indeed, some of them!

I feel badly for the children whose parents are being taken away. No matter what you feel about the undocumented, you have to acknowledge that this is terrifying for their children.

You tell me. You are the one celebrating 30 deportations per day, as if that was some kind of record. There are over 18 million people in that area, and has one of the largest populations of illegals, so 30 is NOTHING.

It could be record low.
