Because.... sense of humor.

Granted, there are Trump voters who find SNL funny and know it's just satire.

But the Trump "fans" are really just as thin-skinned as their hero.

Sad.
Agreed.

It's laughable that anyone would get hurt over an SNL skit.

Personally, the best part isn't even making fun of Trump, Baldwin sucks at it, personally. The only part that gets me laughing is the Sean Spicer bits with Melissa McCarthy.

Besides that, SNL hasn't pushed the envelope in 20 years.

Baldwins actual impersonation is almost cartoonish, it's how he presents the satire. For example telling Merkel he wanted to write a book documenting his struggle and name it "My Struggle" because the press misreported his inauguration audience.

In the 70's when they actually had some talent on that show they would have been destroyed by women's groups for that, because women were fighting to be taken seriously.

See, if you can take a joke and kind of go along with it that makes you a lot more relatable.

I think the last one to really nail down a President was either Darrell Hammond as Bill Clinton or Will Ferrell as GW Bush. I don't even remember who played Obama but I think it was some white guy. (That's how much I stopped watching SNL).

They had Jay Pharoah do it later on, but it wasn't very good.

Obama wasn't really a funny guy to satirize.

True. That's why it makes Trump's admin so good. It's almost too easy to make fun of everyone there. Just wish they had better Primetime Players with better talent to pull it off.

LOL - have you listened to what comes out of the woman's mouth? Them attacking her had nothing to do with either her sex or the color of her hair, trust me on that.
