President Obama doesn't give you much to make fun of....pretty much right down the middle, buttoned up politician. Steady, carefully chosen words, always thinks of what and how he is saying it....just like the lawyer his is.

President Trump has been saying and doing wacky sh$t on TV, the news, and talk show interviews for 30+ years. He opens the door to getting made fun of all the time. Saturday Night Live has been making fun of Trump since the early 90's.

Anyone with an average or above sense of humor can clearly see that President Trump (and the 70yr old guy named Donald Trump who we have all heard his mouth for 30+ years) brings the overwhelming majority of this on himself.

CNN is "full of vile hatred"??????

Does this freaking guy think we don't remember his extremely public feud with Rosie O'Donnell and the things he was saying??????

Bottom line....I don't know any 70yr old men who all of the sudden change the way they think and act...

And it's not happening this time either.

I wouldn't have friends like that. If people get upset about what you watch on TV, that's pretty controlling, and creepy as hell. To me anyway.

Typical liberals !

During the campaign, the vast majority of posters who de-friended friends on social media because of political views were liberals.

Tolerance isn't in their liberal manual !

Maybe learning of the opinions of their friends changed the liberals' feelings about them. Also, it could be that the posts of the conservatives turned the liberals completely off.

Friends who believe totally different ideals are difficult to relate to.

Personally, the best part isn't even making fun of Trump, Baldwin sucks at it, personally. The only part that gets me laughing is the Sean Spicer bits with Melissa McCarthy.

Besides that, SNL hasn't pushed the envelope in 20 years.
Agree re: Melissa. I also like Kate playing Kellyanne, Hillary, Sessions, and Warren. She's versatile.
