Donald Trump, will the Republicans "stand by their man?"

Quote:
WASHINGTON — Congressional Republicans, who craved unified control of the government to secure their aggressive conservative agenda, have instead found themselves on a legislative elliptical trainer, gliding toward nowhere.

After moving to start rolling back the Affordable Care Act just days after President Trump was sworn in last month, Republican lawmakers and Mr. Trump have yet to deliver on any of the sweeping legislation they promised. Efforts to come up with a replacement for the health care law have been stymied by disagreements among Republicans about how to proceed. The same is true for a proposed overhaul of the tax code.

G.O.P.

what t he GOP fails to understand is that we elected Donald Trump as a rejection of THEM not as a rejection of Mr. Obama or the liberals. We would have elected Ted Cruz if we just wanted to slap down democrats.

If these guys don't get that figured out, they will have very short political careers .

Yes I know, it's been a whole 20 something days that Trump has been in office, I expected all of these things to be done all ready.

B/c you fell for their nonsense rhetoric. They never had a replace option, or any intention of repealing Obamacare b/c it is exactly what they wanted out of a healthcare solution.

Think about it... the party of personal responsibility suddenly has a problem w/ everyone having skin in the game and paying something towards their share of the HC cost? You really think they oppose that idea and would rather have what?

The GOP never had any plans to do any of this if they got back in power. They didn't get back in power either.

Ding, ding, ding. I think the GOP expected Hillary to win with the intent to use her as a scapegoat for the ACA. Then in 2020, the GOP would run someone that could beat her and then do something about it.

IMHO, they didn't have a plan B for Trump winning.

It was totally a Republican designed program until President Obama showed up on the scene and they fought like hell to not give the people The Public Option. They are such scum.
