I guess this explains why the governor declared a state of emergency.

Does anybody know why they haven't been releasing from Oroville. I heard they have been releasing from some of the other reservoirs. Yesterday the photos were unsettling, for me anyway. But, the big wigs were saying there was nothing to worry about.

edit: okay, apparently they were releasing from Oroville, but because of fear of erosion they slowed it way down.

If Californians didn't have to subsidize fat Mississippians California could keep their infrastructure from falling apart.

This preventable tragedy will hopefully lead to CaliExit 2018 victory and Californians can look out for Californians and no longer be forced to subsidize white racists in the South!

Marysville and Yuba City are poor, poor cities that absolutely cannot afford a catastrophe. I'm really concerned for those folks.

the spillway was damaged.
AFAIK they aren't expecting the entire dam to fail, just the auxiliary spillway.
which will be plenty bad enough...

Then don't beg for Federal aid to deal with the damage from this dam failure. A lot of people may die or at a minimum have their lives uprooted and all you can think about is partisan politics. Pathetic.
