However it doesn't take a constitutional scholar to understand a system of checks and balances. If the OP's thread title sounds anything familiar like what an authoritarian would say, you'd be well damned it's exactly it.
Absolutely authoritarian, and the trump cultists on this board are praising it. This is the first time I've ever witnessed people actually praise dictatorships. It's mind boggling.

"(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."
Show us where, in that LAW, there is any provision for a review of any action taken by the President regarding immigration!

When what he deems 'appropriate' is questionable, both congress and the courts may chime in.
1. Congress may decide to not fund his executive order.
2. The Courts may rule on the constitutionality of any executive order.
It's a simple matter of checks and balances.
For this little worm miller to angrily declare that the president will not be questioned is laughable but when the white house congratulates him for these horrendously unAnerican comments, that makes his words dangerous.
Increasingly the administration is pushing the envelope to see how far they can erode the credibility of the other 2 branches.
Trump wants to create a constitutional crisis so he can declare himself an autocratic leader.
