I have read the the financials that they HAVE to fill out, contain MUVH MORE info then their tax returns do, so I say NO, if that is true.
A P&L and 2 or 3 years taxes is a pretty common request by a bank if you go in for a loan and are self employed. That does not seem like too big of an ask for someone who wants to be president. The reason they ask for tax returns is that a P&L can be easily kinked. Actual tax returns would require lying to the IRS.

I hire lots of employees and have never asked them for their tax returns, don't care. When I hired Trump to work for me as President, still don't care about his taxes because they are irrelevant to the job.
Still waiting for more information about the "emoluments clause".
Which one has trump violated, and exactly how did he violate it?
Are you asking me? I don't know or even particularly care. It seems pretty obvious that he is going to be allowed to do pretty much whatever he wants until he becomes too much of problem for the republican congress. Not much I can do about that, however in the future I would like full disclosure before giving someone carte blanc with our money.
Should we require tax returns and full financial disclosure from all presidential candidates? In light of the extraordinary amount of latitude we seem to give a sitting president with regards to conflicts of interest don't we deserve full disclosure? If I have to excuse any and all conflicts I want to know ahead of time the potential problems and vote accordingly. Much more should have been made of Trumps lack of tax returns IMO.
Why don't you suggest that to your representative and make it a law. Then you don't need to use the issue as a straw man.

I am asking anybody who referred to the "emoluments clause".
I merely want clarification of exactly what they have in mind. Statements have been made calling for impeachment because of the "emoluments clause".
I merely want to know which one they are referring too (there are actually two of them), and what actions or lack of actions they find to be impeachable offenses.
If you are one of those people, and "don't know or even particularly care." I would be ashamed to admit it.

I hope you find someone to pick your fight with..... I'm not interested.
i think presidents should get vetted- but not with the same congress stand offs- just qualify to be president as you are a fed employee
