getting 5 million more voters coming out in liberal California doesn't mean anything unless you are electing a local politician

If you make the California argument, you have to do it in any state with similar margins.

Isn't the definition of insanity "Doing the same thing and expecting a different result"?

Seems to fit somehow.

Are they right ? Is this a good tactic?
What tactic? To let Trump be Trump? The best tactic is letting your adversaries do you job.

I doubt there will be an impeachment.

The Congress will be accomplices in Trump's corrupt administration.

The Democrats need to clean house and get back to basics. Stay away from the fringes. Sometimes they sound just as nutty as the right wingnuts. They need to take back city, county and state legislatures. They need to fix all the gerrymandering the GOPers have established to disenfranchise people. They need to make districts competitive.

We're just going to keep Trump's feet to the fire. He doesn't know what hard work is yet.

If his treasonous behavior can be PROVED beyond a shadow of a doubt, then History will judge him.

The responders are proving my point. The Dems entire platform is "don't worry Trump will be impeached!"

It's a terrible tactic. Both chambers of congress are Republican majority. In order to get Trump impeached, they need the approval of the GOP, which while I think it's pretty fair that most of the GOP don't actually like Trump, he is useful to them. He won't get impeached until the GOP decides he's no longer useful, which would be a full two term presidency. A given the cult following that he has, I honestly wouldn't be too shocked if he were elected a 2nd term, especially if the Democrat's strategy is "wait it out."

No, that is a terrible strategy. But who exactly is really saying that? Most of these "people are saying..." posts just end with some idiotic strawman made up by the OP.

We need a pragmatist centrist party. Too bad there doesn't seem to be one.
