Silly goose. Everyone knows that if the news is true, you can call it fake but you can't sue for libel cause it's true.

Precisely why I wonder why the trumpettes cry fake news all the time even though if it truly is, main stream media would cease to exist already. The Dump had plenty of chances to sue them to kingdom come.

They aren't as litigious as Trump? Who have they sued before? Besides who do you sue when the alt-right social media universe creates conspiracies and run with it?
I think that pizzeria that got smeared enough to attract a crazy with an assault rifle had a case for suing, but suing for defamation and libel takes a lot of time and money. How do you sue crazies on the internet?
Now, Trump, on the other hand is famous for his idiotic and frivolous lawsuits brought over any little thing that he feels is a slight. Thousands of lawsuits. So it doesn't it makes sense to ask why is he not suing establishment media outlets if they misreported and did not retract?
Remember he said he would change the libel laws to make it easier to sue? Somehow I suspect that he will not get the backing in Congress he needs for it, and I don't think he can just sign an EO to make it happen.
They sued the Daily Mail, right? But that kind of blew back on them when Melania stated in the suit that it would ruin her ability to make money off of her name and position.
Fake News is just another way of saying Tabloid News. Fake News has been around for a while, it's just that the major news have started to copy tabloid news.
