Don't forget their "Christian" attitude toward immigration of the scary brown people. Or poor women's access to contraception. Their religion now forbids them to be giving and kind to others

It's not unChristian to be for following laws.

Now.....I fully support this. I support us helping out the less well off with their health needs. We should have never forced them to come up with money they do not have just to make sure the insurance and pharmaceutical industry thrives.

We can waste billions killing people in other countries to prop up Wall Street but we couldn't do a proper health care system here? A young family should have to choose between rent and making an inflated insurance payment so that the corrupt pharmaceutical companies can pull stuff like this?

This is what you support?
A rebranded common steroid that retails at $1 a pill in other countries under a different brand name was approved by FDA to treat Muscular Dystrophy under an expedited fast path process. . Once approved the manufacturer decides to sell it at a price point that amounts to $89,000 a year. Manufacturer blows off claims of price gouging and says with discounts and rebates it will be more affordable.

In the meantime, the rest of the developed world maintains comparative- effectiveness panels who will likely conclude the $1 steroid under a different name is appropriate to treat Muscular Dystrophy.

Congress made clear twice during the Bush years that it would not authorize Medicare, the largest single payer of prescription drugs in the world, to negotiate/ regulate wholesale or retail price of prescription meds or buy such meds from a foreign country. In other words, Congress chose to protect the interests of Big Pharm over government and the people.

Big Pharma spends $ billions lobbying at the fed and state levels.

You didn't read my comment, did you? I'm not talking about illegal immigration. I'm talking about women preventing pregnancy and legal immigration.

Charity is NOT something taken by force with a threat of throwing you in prison if you refuse to contribute to that charity. That is taxes, and taxing someone to fund YOUR charity is theft.

For those that don't get free medical what you do is set up payments and pay your bill. Imagine that, pay your bill, who would have thunk it.
