LOL, that's exactly what Ocare allowed the freeloaders to do. My coverage went up 150% to over $1080 a month to pay for all those Moochers you refer.

Brother in law's COBRA ran out. He sought to buy insurance in the open market and was denied due to a preexisting condition experienced years prior even though he had been continuously insured. He was not disabled and did not qualify for Medicaid nor was he old enough for Medicare. Fast forward. Fox News told him Obamacare was bad news. He was unaware that he could no longer be denied insurance due to a preexisting condition.

He avoided seeing a doctor despite feeling increasingly lousy and coughing up blood for the prior few years, because he was uninsured. His goal was to wait until his 65 th birthday and Medicare.

One day he was unable get out of bed. Eventually an ambulance was called and he was transported to the ER. Cancer had spread throughout his body and all his organs were in the process of shutting down. He died a few days later.

The Cancer was unrelated to the preexisting condition that was the cause of previously being denied insurance.

There's likely a fine line between his own denial and an intent to protect his relatively meager assets. Had he been insured, he likely would have seen a doctor, given he had previously done so while covered by his former employer's COBRA.

Had he been a tad older and eligible for Medicare, his medical expenses would have been covered because Medicare and private insurers of supplimental plans, do not discriminate.

Presenting in the ER with end stage Cancer is not uncommon for those without insurance.

Same guy with Obamacare has a $12K deductible and his first bill for treatment would be $1500 so he doesn't go anyway because he can't pay that either because his premium is $800/month and rent is due.

Correct-like everything else, the "poor" get things handed to them for free in this country. While people that actually WORK for a living and are now priced out of health insurance due to Oblubbercare rate increases are fined.

He should have gotten more skills and a better job with better insurance. His fault he died.

NO this is not what I think, but I am convinced a good sized minority in this country feel that way. Just a thinning of the herd of some loser anyway.

Health insurance has been going up massively since long before Obama. I had a crapola policy in 2005 that cost me nearly 10K employee portion back then.

Single payer, cut out the insurance companies.

No one on Medicare complains....put everyone there. Raise income threshold to a million dollars a year for contributions to FICA and Medicare.

So simple.
