So yes, I think, people are very afraid the Govt will delete and compromise scientific data that goes against their agend and viewpoints...

In fact the Dept of Education HAS removed the info link on their site about the Federal regulations regarding students with disabilities and their rights under the law for accommodations --or at least it disappeared and has not come back-- two Senators have pressed the Dept for an explanation and timeline for its replacement.
Remember DeVos thought she could pass off her dept's oversight about any violations to states...not true!

I honestly think that Trump just wanted an opportunity to make himself look like a "victim" of "bad" press in this particular instance, rather than honestly answer the actual question that was asked.
Yes he did in order to further convince his base that he is a victim but who couldn't see right thru that?
He's gaslighting again. Just as the intelligence community is not sharing anything of real importance with him, the press should avoid him as well. He will never give them anything of value he is just throwing red meat to his base. He's very dangerous.

This some a perfect summary.

18 WTF Moments From Trump's Unhinged Press Conference - Rolling Stone

I love looking at Fox News page and see what is said about Trump. Everyone thinks he tells it like it is, he buried the press and is doing a great job. Its amazing to me anyone can view the press conference as anything but laughable and embarrassing.

I'm sorrybut how have we become such snowflakes. Your going to be okay, I would give you a big hug if I could.

If you don't take any sides, it is really not that much bad. This one is actually better than lot of his previous ones.

Nice. I disagree with you, and I'm a snowflake? Not at all. I just don't tolerate idiocy well. I expect people to be competent in their roles. Trump is in waaaayyy over his head, he cannot get good people to agree to work with him (or ignores those few who can do their jobs), he's a foreign policy disaster in a world that demands a deep and thoughtful approach to international relations, and his domestic policies are long on promises and short on action. He cannot stay focused on anything more demanding than his own press. You may be sorry, but I'm not. This administration is a **** show, and everyone who voted for him should be hanging his head in shame. Trump's circus is going to be a long four years. And, no, this is not about effing Hillary! Trump is a disaster.

Hey, I have a son who was diagnosed as ADHD when he was in elementary school...
In some ways he has those traits but he is also highly intelligent and was just freaking bored in the class of the teacher who tried to blame him/stigmatize w/ADD vs admit she was crummy teacher...

I was also a teacher and worked with many kids with learning disabilities -- some of them did have accommodations and did well...
And what I learned from a specialist who taught reading enhancement skills to kids who struggled (mine were in high school) was that if you go too long w/o being diagnosed, having appropriate treatment/remediation soon enough--then any improvement was strictly short term for the most part...
If child doesn't learn to read with fluentcy by time s/he is 7 or 8 then the curve gets tremendously steeper, harder and makes progress so difficult...for whatever reason the gap existed...

There are kids w/auditory processing issues...they don't hear sounds accurately...
So,etimes physical issue -- sometimes brain function...
Don't know about time factor in treating that type of processing problem...

Would really like someone to analyze a piece of Trump's writing...
One that was extemporaneous and not thought over too much...

And based on the times I have seen his long-time physician talking about Trump, that doctor would be the least likely to notice anything "off" about Trump's abilities or behavior...

Trump appears to be making an effort to tone down his manner when publicly interacting with others, but that bad temper and short fuse of his keep getting the better of him, assisted by his lack of common respect for others. But his tone of voice is softer, his speech a little slower on such occasions now - at least, initially.

I assume someone whose opinion he values - one of the rare few - advised this. You'll remember during the campaign, at one point he heavy-handedly tried to lampoon himself being addressed by an advisor: "Slow down, Donald. Take it easy, Donald," and so on. I think the same thing is going on now, and I think it's very, very difficult for him to convincingly give the impression that he's changed his spots.

Of course, his substance hasn't changed - it's all style. And he's not quite pulling it off, and is not convincing. But he's making an effort to present that calmer façade.

Unfortunately, that's all it is, and it is very, very thin and fragile.

Some things are just jokes on either side but others are hitting below the belt.

And remember, it was Trump who alluded to the size of his penis. He did it. It was during a debate on tv.
That's what started people saying he has small hands--a women's joke about what small hands mean, lol. But Trump himself started the whole thing on national tv. He also talked about pu$$y. That's his own doing.
He must have wanted it that way or he would never have started it.
Again - you are missing the point. When ever a person on the right said any thing critical about Obama, they were labeled as, oh, racist, misanthropic, xenophobic, islamophobic, etc, deplorables. The left was (sniff, sniff) above all of that. You were morally and intellectual better than that.

But now that the shoe is on the other foot, many on the left, especially on here, have gone straight to the bottom. You have outdeplored the deplorables. Hypocrites. You can no longer claim any, any, moral or intellectual high ground (not that you were ever entitled to it, you just assumed you had it.)

Finally, labeling your insults as "fair game" is a weak attempt to justify your own bad behavior.

His entire overprivileged and ultraspoiled life, tRump has been "the boss" and everyone he has contact with was required to lick his boots. It's all he knows.

Now, he's playing it as if he's been elected the boss of America. He expects everyone to act as if he's an absolute monarch.

Nope. He's president. And he's under constant scrutiny and unrelenting criticism as all presidents are.

He's surrounded himself with creeps who he sets against one another. His first month has been a total trainwreck. He's largely clueless. He's obviously not a fast learner.

It's hilarious.
