Firstly, to put Trump on Rushmore it would take 60 years just to get his hair correct.
Than it will take forever to make corrections on his likeness due to his vanity and pomposity.
Therefore, in the spirit of compromise, I suggest we etch the likeness of DT on etch a sketch.

They're hormone-driven, pack-mentality teenagers. They found their target--liberals--whom they've been brainwashed to hate, remaining utterly clueless to the fact that Trump and his ilk think his supporters are nothing but brainless minions who can be directed, via hate, to carry the billionaires into power.
Appreciate the information. I remember reading about how much work it takes to keep those presidents looking decent and not eroding into the surrounding landscape, and I couldn't imagine they'd consign the funds and labor it would take to add another president to Mt. Rushmore, even if it could be done. I figured (facetiously, I admit), that if they ever had thoughts of putting another president up there, it would have been Obama, considering the widespread hero worship there was around him, particularly early in his presidency. But as you say, there is really no room for another figure up there.

BUT, I have to disagree. Mount Rushmore should not be messed with. No additions, no subtractions.

Rushmore has room left for one more. IMO Roosevelt or Reagan should go up there, Not many presidents rise to the level of deserving that spot. I would say the ww2 leadership of Roosevelt and the successful way Reagan ended the Cold War without mass death are the kinds of things that earn you a spot up there. Trump is not worthy to even stand in the shadow of these great men.
